Acceptance of the terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the FlavorDraft application and related services (the “Service”).

By using FlavorDraft, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

What FlavorDraft does

FlavorDraft is a personal recipe organization and automated note-taking tool. The Service can help you capture, organize, structure, adapt, and manage recipe information that you choose to save.

For example, FlavorDraft may help you turn information from a recipe webpage, cooking video, social post, your own notes, or another supported source into ingredients and cooking steps stored in your personal cookbook.

FlavorDraft is intended to make recipe note-taking and organization easier.

User-directed imports

FlavorDraft processes recipe sources at your direction. You choose the content or source you want FlavorDraft to work with.

Do not use FlavorDraft to intentionally infringe copyright, violate access restrictions, circumvent technological protection measures, or misuse content that you do not have the right to use.

Third-party recipes and content

Recipes, videos, photographs, webpages, social posts, trademarks, creator names, and other third-party materials remain the property of their respective owners where applicable. FlavorDraft does not claim ownership of third-party source material.

Where practical, FlavorDraft may preserve source attribution and links to the original source.

FlavorDraft’s processing of a source does not imply sponsorship, affiliation, endorsement, or authorization by the source creator or platform.

Your personal cookbook

Recipe notes, edits, collections, favorites, and other material you save in FlavorDraft are intended for your personal cookbook. Saved recipes are private by default.

FlavorDraft does not currently automatically publish your cookbook into a public shared recipe library.

You remain responsible for content you choose to add, save, edit, or generate through the Service.

Content you provide

You retain ownership of content that you create and own.

You grant FlavorDraft a limited license to host, process, reproduce, transform, and transmit content only as reasonably necessary to operate, maintain, secure, and provide the Service and the features you request. This license is non-exclusive and limited to providing the Service.

AI-assisted features

FlavorDraft may use artificial intelligence to help:

• extract or organize recipe information
• clarify cooking instructions
• suggest recipe adaptations
• adjust quantities
• suggest substitutions
• generate recipes from user ideas
• provide other recipe-related assistance

AI-generated output may be incomplete, inaccurate, or inappropriate for a particular situation. You should use your own judgment before relying on generated recipe instructions.

Food, allergy, and safety disclaimer

FlavorDraft is a recipe organization and assistance tool, not a medical, nutritional, food-safety, or professional culinary service.

FlavorDraft cannot guarantee:

• that a recipe is allergen-free
• that substitutions are safe for a particular allergy or medical condition
• that ingredient information is complete
• that generated cooking temperatures or times are appropriate in every circumstance
• that source material itself is accurate

Users are responsible for checking ingredients, allergens, cooking temperatures, food handling, and other safety considerations appropriate to their circumstances.

Accounts

Some FlavorDraft features may require an account. You are responsible for maintaining control of your account and authentication credentials.

You must provide accurate information where required, and must not impersonate another person or misuse another person’s account.

Acceptable use

You may not use FlavorDraft to:

• violate applicable law
• infringe the rights of others
• intentionally upload or process content you have no right to use
• bypass access restrictions or technological protection measures
• interfere with the Service
• probe, attack, overload, or disrupt FlavorDraft’s infrastructure
• distribute malware or malicious code
• abuse automated systems
• facilitate unlawful activity
• reverse engineer the Service, except where applicable law expressly permits it

Third-party services and links

FlavorDraft may interact with third-party platforms, websites, authentication providers, infrastructure providers, and AI services. FlavorDraft may also preserve links to original recipe sources.

We are not responsible for the availability, content, policies, security, or practices of third-party services. Your use of third-party services may be governed by separate terms.

Subscriptions and purchases

FlavorDraft may offer paid subscriptions or premium features.

If purchases are offered through Apple’s App Store:

• payments are processed by Apple
• subscription pricing and billing terms are displayed before purchase
• subscriptions may renew automatically unless canceled according to Apple’s subscription settings
• cancellation and refund requests are generally handled according to Apple’s applicable policies

Pricing may vary by country and may change over time.

Changes to the Service

FlavorDraft will evolve. We may add, change, limit, or discontinue features.

We will try to avoid changes that unnecessarily disrupt users, but we do not guarantee that every feature will remain available forever.

Termination

You may stop using FlavorDraft at any time.

We may suspend or terminate access if reasonably necessary to:

• protect the Service or other users
• respond to fraud or abuse
• comply with legal obligations
• address material violations of these Terms

Where appropriate, we will try to provide notice.

Disclaimer of warranties

To the extent permitted by law, FlavorDraft is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

We do not guarantee that the Service will always be uninterrupted, error-free, or that generated or extracted recipe information will always be accurate or complete.

Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or rights that cannot legally be excluded under applicable consumer law.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, FlavorDraft and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the Service.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you are responsible for claims or harm resulting from your unlawful misuse of the Service or your intentional violation of the rights of another person.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as FlavorDraft evolves. If changes are material, we may provide reasonable notice. The updated Terms will show a new effective date.
